Invitations & Celebrations
Designing is my playground.
When my boys were little I loved to make everyday a day to celebrate, and special days, like birthdays, were even more reason to do so.
I took every opportunity to design invitations for our special occasions. We would go all out on holidays, and I found so much joy from creating the event's invitations and decorations. Here is a collection of some of those precious moments.
After our initial conversation, she quickly produced a fully realized draft design that perfectly matched the contents of my book. Then she graciously responded to my special request to incorporate a loon into the mix. I love it!
When I needed to change publishers, I made sure to maintain the rights to her work, and my second publisher was happy to use her design on our new edition.
