I'm not a dancer, or much of a flower girl, but the inspiration for this series was born from the exploration of one who perhaps might have been.
Each ballerina has her own personality, her flower name scripted in French. The line work is carefully drawn in pen-dipped walnut ink before washed with watercolor pigments.
